GEAK Smart Watch

The Geak is officially the third best-selling smart watch in the world.

Gu Xiaobing, CEO of China’s biggest wearable devices company, announced on his personal Weibo page that the GEAK Smart Watch has sold more than 300,000 units since launched on July 3, 2013.

This puts it in third place behind Samsung Galaxy Gear (800,000 units sold) and Pebble Smart Watch’s (400,000).

The Geak is one of the more interesting of the new breed of Chinese watch phones.

It’s basically a computer for your wrist with a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. It synchs with Android and Windows phones.

Like the upcoming Neptune Pine, the $330 Geak Watch, runs Android 4.1. But unlike the Neptune, the Geak is available for sale now.

We’ve said before that China builds high-quality wearables worth looking at. It appears that over 300,000 others agree!

I’ve always loved a military watch, but Geak could make me change my mind. Nice!
